croppic script details croppic allows a developer to provide an easy to use image cropping tool for their users.
Images can be cropped:
- inside a modal window
- using a shadow image source
- without the image shadow
croppic works by displaying the image inside a box and letting the user drag the image's position until the box is over their desired area of the photo.
The user can zoom in and out of the image and when ready he can press the crop button to launch croppic into action.
The plugin also comes with the proper PHP files that deal with the actual image cutting operation, so you can easily deploy it to a live production site within minutes.
To help developers get started, examples for all three use cases are included with the croppic package.
